Anatolian! I've remembered. And probably mispelled. *Googles* Ooo... they're pretty! It's not a breed I'm familiar with. I'm still dogless... my dog, which I may have mentioned from time to time on PPN, died in 2006. So we just have our ancient cockatiel now (the spellcheck wants me to correct that to cockatrice, which would be sort of appropriate) who sits on her perch muttering darkly to herself, periodically lays grape-sized eggs, and hisses at us whenever we walk by the cage. EDT: And yay, two pages! The spam thread has developed from a sprout to a seedling!

TWO PAGES! GOOD JOB GUYS! Such news makes Gerry Phantom happy, Kay Erik maudlin, and Leroux Erik decidedly frisky.

Who is that guy and what is he in? After seeing him a couple times now, I'm curious. EDIT: Watching those two in-sync thumbs-up it kind of mesmerizing...

He's Andrew Scott, and the gifs are from a show called My Life In Film. Which is awesome, and yet sadly not on DVD. I had to hunt it down through the internet.
Did you see the BBC's Sherlock? He may look a little familiar from that, if so... (if you haven't, you totally should.)

Fortunately my local library owns it (they're kind of awesome... they have a whole section of British TV shows), so I just need to make the time.

You definitely should! It's incredible. And has Andrew Scott. Which just makes it that much more awesome.

I come bearing a doodle for New Papen: It's small because it kept coming out blurry no matter how many times I photographed it and I got bored. I'll have to try rephotographing it sometime. THIS IS A GLORIOUS DOODLE. May our tiny new republic/planet grow and spread like the mighty oak. *single proud tear* Yaaaay shiny new spam thread! This is so exciting.

Spam thread with two whole pages, no less! Which makes it... almost legitimate!

Thanks, Skeletonhorse! I will have to draw new doodles as the empire grows! Also, what does the title of this thread mean? All I got from my shaky Spanish and a quick cheating Google of mazanitas was "For love of green apples." Which, considering this is the thread devoted to non sequiturs, could very well be correct. Or maybe it is a reference that has passed over my head.

Heh, no, it's just what it sounds like. "For the love of little green apples." Which... is a real phrase? If I remember correctly? Like saying "Oh, for Pete's sake!" Except, with green apples involved.
I have no idea why I named the Spam thread that, though. Could be any number of reasons. *grins* Your guess is as good as mine.

Ye gods and little fishes, people, we've got eight members! We are growing! Slowly but surely! WE WILL SOON TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
I'm getting quite the kick out of imagining the world being run by ex-PPN members. There'd be a lot more chaos, for one thing. Except we'd like it.

The world being run by ex-PPn members? That is both a terrifying and amazing concept. ;D
LOL I was literally just coming on here to suggest that we should resurrect the Pretty People Pictures thread, and there is one! Haha.

Ye gods and little fishes, people, we've got eight members! We are growing! Slowly but surely! WE WILL SOON TAKE OVER THE WORLD! THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME. Surely we would achieve world peace/domination through the power of cookies, musicals, and pretty men. Or we would achieve it by simply rendering everyone around us helpless with confusion. Either way.
