*snort*
I literally snorted when I saw the caption, so I figured it was more appropriate than lol.

Hey, Eppie - the New Papen sketch reminds me of the individual planet illustrations from The Little Prince. Did that influence you in some way or am I just imagining a connection here?

It kind of reminded me of The Little Prince, too. I love it.
I... wish I had Photoshop skills. Or Photoshop, for that matter. I'm wanting to put something together for a project, and just failing miserably. *pokes at screencaps* LOOK PRETTY, DARN YOU!

Oh it's definitely influenced by the Little Prince illustrations... it's actually almost a copy of the Little Prince's planet. It was a deliberate reference.

Uh, I think I met some PPNers in my dream last night? Mandy was making us dinner. Becky was playing the piano? Someone, Eppie I think, had strangely shown up with an LJ friend of mine named Mark. Stalker Erik brought a 19-year-old blonde girl who I think was Leroux!Christine in disguise (she called herself Shannon). Sandi was giving me editing advice, and kept handing out dollar bills.

That was some dream, Ran!
On a similar, but different, note, I have done little but sleep since waking up Friday with the library crud. I "celebrate" turning in my fabulous State Aid report with this bug every year, and it has really gotten old. I'm just glad that it has coincided with my stay-cation, as I used all of my sick/personal time during the last weeks of my nephew's illness and his funeral.

Yes, Mark and I are actually a secret crime-fighting duo. ;-) Your dream sounds like fun, Ran! And Sandi, I hope you feel better soon!

Well, I enjoyed being handed dollar bills, that's for sure.
Heh, in my dream I was all, "Uh, Eppie, you know Mark's engaged, right?" It's good to know that you two were just together for purely professional reasons. Because I totally hold people accountable for how they act in my dreams. *serious face*
I hope you feel better, CH/Sandi! Being sick is lousy.

There was a sad lack of enthusiasm for trick-or-treating in my town tonight. I got home at about 6:15, and there hasn't been a single one. It's after 7:00, which is the curfew for trick-or-treaters, so there probably won't be any now. Oh well, at least it means there's a lot of leftover candy!
Of course an entire bowl of candy is probably the last thing I need...

Les Miserables has been playing in my head all day, and my nose hurts.
I don't really think these two things are related, but you can never be too sure.

First day of NaNo! I'm apparently excited enough about it that getting up super early this morning wasn't as hard as I thought it would be... 1680 words and counting.
I decided to post my project this year as I write it. It may be kind of a dumb idea, given the suckage that NaNo projects tend to have. All that hasty writing. But we'll see.

We had 11 trick-or-treaters last night - the downside to living on a park. Am feeling better - have a little bit of a voice today - but my credit union has ticked me off royally. Outlined my crossover in my head last night, but I haven't registered for NaNoWriMo yet ... oughta get on the ball, I guess.

Sandi, there's this thing people say, I can't remember exactly how it goes, but I think it rhymes with "Better snate than revver..."
*makes it her mission to get everybody writing*

Hey, that's kind of fun, the forum apparently displays it on the front page when it's the birthday of a member. Maybe other forums did that too and I just don't remember.
In any case, happy birthday Stalker!Erik! *gives you a black top-hat with a shiny black band*
